Celebrating
25 Years!
EDUCATION FOR DEVELOPMENT
Returned
Peace Corps Volunteers, staff, and friends created the
Peace Corps Alumni Foundation
for Philippine Development
in 1983 as a way to
continue their commitment to the social
and economic
development of the Philippines.
The Foundation provides
scholarships for Filipino students who need financial assistance to realize
their dreams of attending college in the Philippines. Over the years, more than
115 scholarship recipients have completed their studies in fields ranging from
engineering and architecture to midwifery and community development.
The PCAFPD
Scholars & Alumni Association (PSAA)
PCAFPD is an
affiliate of the National Peace Corps Association and is recognized as the
official returned Volunteer group of the Philippines. In 1999, PCAFPD was
awarded the
Loret Miller Ruppe Award for Outstanding Community Service.
The
Foundation is a registered 501C(3) non-profit organization.
Contributions are
tax-deductible.
We
always welcome new friends and supporters!
